| September 23, 2003 i guess my last update was too graphic... here is my last one: dont jog up and down the hills of san fracisco after biking for a couple of days thanks lucas ------------------------------------------------------------------------ August 21, 2003 well- its a deep subject- biking- is tough in Montana- b and max now have mace to assure them the upper hand against certain road hogs- I bought an air horn- I cant hear at times- i got a haircut at Wal-Mart- and Leon and I jumped off a 40-50 ft bridge coming into Idaho- that ole potato state is beautimous- jagged cliffs drop down into rivers and lakes of ice cold blue-green glacier water- we lost our first game of basketball in Sandpoint, Idaho- team bike America is 10-2 now- nothing to be ashamed of. I beat sheriff for the first time at gin rummy- he owes me a new castle- Kristy, the president of team delirium (Max, Leon, Kristy, and I would get up in the weeeeeeee hours of the morning to avoid the heat only to grow loopy from lack of sleep) left us for school in Los Angeles- we are back down to the original seven bikers- get ready for a red rockets reunion in chapel hill- come November say hey to president bush for me. i miss him Lucas ------------------------------------------------------------------------ July 21, 2003 the tan line has set in on my ankles. we crossed the mississippi and push on up and down the hills of north east iowa. i look forward to lunch everyday. never eat greasy beef before biking 40 miles. storms are ruthless in the midwest, so are mullets. they call grocery bags "sacs" here. i think it funny. you can dribble inbounds in iowa- you dont have to pass. thats some of what i have learned so far. get ready for big pretty and the red rockets ------------------------------------------------------------------------ July 10, 2003 the ankle is feeling better. i met the bikers in cleveland last week. i've pedaled around 300 miles so far. Now, we are about to leave ann arbor, michigan. Big Pretty and the Red Rockets blew it up last night. time to start biking it again. adios Lucas |
