The Bike America Team has chosen a route that spans 6,500 miles from Acadia, Maine, to Seattle, Washington, and down to Baja, Mexico. By first traversing the northern tier of the United States, the team will battle the rainy New England climate, and the arduous terrain of the Appalachian Mountains.From there, the seven bikers will move across the monotonous, baking plains of the Dakotas, and later into the high Rocky Mountains of Montana.

After overcoming the challenges of the Northern Tier, the trek then becomes much more tranquil. From Seattle, its a few months and a few thousand miles of biking along the Pacific coast, with oceanside camping and breath taking sunsets all the way to Mexico.
